remote controls won't actuate garage door

I have an Accessmaster model M100 garage door opener that is about 15 years old. Two of the remote controls have stopped working. One is continuing to work and the Home Link buttons on both cars continue to work. I have replaced that batteries in the remote controls and tried to relink them with the opener without success. Can you suggest a solution?

It's possible the remote is simply dying from old age. Some electronic components like capacitors can have a limited life span. Have you tried ordering a replacement remote? You probably can get a new one for $25.

I'm not sure why the bad battery remotes would not work when fresh batteries were installed. As Pilot Dane suggests, they may need replacing.

It is also possible that the memory in the receiver is full with two cars and three remote codes. You can try dumping the memory and reinstalling the cars and remotes to see if that was the problem.
