Garage door opener quit closing.

My remote will open the door, but it will not close it. Also, the wall switch must be held down to close the door.

then i try, I changed the battery and when I try to configure my remote controls I could just set one distant. Before transforming the battery both remotes worked.

Welcome to the forums.

Your door blockage beam sensors are either out of alignment or broken. You need to observe the LED lights to see if they are in alignment.

This problem has nothing to do with the remotes. If you've messed with the remote programming.... you MUST reprogram all the transmitters at the same time.

As PJ says, check the beams. Make sure they are aligned. Get you manual out and look at the trouble shooting part.

But before worrying about alignment make simple check of wires to make sure you don't have one broken/disconnected. Just had that at daughter's house.
