Lift master 1150LM sensor help

I have an older liftmaster 1150LM 1/3 HP garage door opener. I think something is wrong with the sensors because I have to press and hold the button on the door frame for it to go down. Otherwise it won't go down and the light blinks as if there is an obstruction even though there is no obstruction. one seller on eBay told me that model need a rare type of sensor that is hard to find. Can anyone help me with a sensor model number or a way to solve the problem or eve bypass the sensors??? Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Typically the sensors cannot be bypassed. Not sure on that model.
You need to confirm the date of manufacture. If it is after 1999...... this one will work.
If it is before 1999.... let us know.

That part shows as a 41a5034 sensor kit. Looks to be widely available.

If it's prior to 1999.... it requires a 41a4373A sensor kit which is still available but may take a little hunting to find it.

I'm trying to find more info on your 1991 model.
All I've found so far is that the sensors were optional before 1993 but I can't confirm that.
