Garage Door Rolling Hinge does not tighten

Hi Everyone!

New home owner here enjoying(and hating) the DIY life

Todayís first hurdle is a rolling hinge for the top of my garage door that will not tighten, they just spin in place. Probably stripped. I went to Home Depot to get some new bolts and some washers.. no dice!

Iím hoping not have to replace the hold door. Any advice would be welcome

attaching pics for reference. Roller on the left is working at tightened perfectly

Move the bracket 1/2" to the left and drill new holes.

A drill and a drill bit. The pilot hole you drill only needs to be 5/32 or so.

Sounds good! Thank you! How about the threads to screw in to the new hole?

Your screws are self tapping.

Tightening Rolling Hinge

Kuro, you might want to buy or borrow a small set of sockets and a socket wrench to install the small lag screws you are using. It will go faster and easier for you, and a set will come in handy for you for other projects around the house.
