Rapid clicking on Access Master (Chamberlain) opener

I’ll try to post a video also. Anytime it’s plugged in it just clicks/flashes very rapidly (4x a second). This isn’t like the slow “there’s something in the way of the door” flashing. It’s like a machine gun. Any ideas?

There may be a shear pin or similar that connects the motor drive to the chain. It may have broken, which is the clicking sound. Did you disconnect the door from the drive and try opening it manually? Does it open without a lot of force? Have you looked up the manual online?

Yes I am able to open the door just fine manually. No luck on the manual yet but I will keep looking!
Here is the video.

I don't know where this came from, but might be a possibility. At least it seems to suggest rapid flash could happen for legitimate reasons. But I guess - how rapid is rapid.
If your Access Master garage door opener is flashing very fast, it could be an indication that the lock button on your garage door remote is engaged. To disengage the lock, locate the lock button on your garage door remote and press and hold it down for about two seconds. Doing this will disengage the lock and allow the remote control to resume opening and closing the garage door
