Question

Hi,

Saw a few posts that might have answered this question but
I've always checked with doityourself forums before any repair.

The spring on my garage door has broken and the steel wire has come off of the pulley. My first idea was to consult the forum here on how I could replace the spring. But it looks like the advice for this type of repair is to call a pro.

Is this correct?

Thanks,
Ron

Thumbs up

Thanks. I called a local garage repair service and got
an estimate of $130 total for repair.
