We have just about finished building a garage from the ground up. I had downloaded the instructions on building a garage from this Website and found them to be very helpful. In fact, the instructions saved us a lot of grief from making mistakes due to the sections in the instructions called, "Common Mistakes." The only thing it didn't cover was installing the door. We are not installing a power garage door opener, just a manual lift, single car garage door. We are installing a used garage door, so there are no instructions with it. I have a Sears garage door opener that is about ten years old. The cordless keypad works fine. The hardwired opener works fine. My problem is with the remotes that go into the cars. I have to push a button on the opener and then hit the button on the remote to set it up. When I set up the first remote it works fine, but the second remote doesn't work. So, I reprogram the second remote it works, but the first one won't work. I can go back and forth getting either remote to work fine, but I can never get both remotes to work at the same time. Help!
