Lightbulb painting garage floor

WHEN PAINTING A GARAGE FLOOR, WHAT IS THE BEST IS THE BEST PAINT TO USE? I HEARD THAT EPOXY PAINT IS THE BEST TO USE. DOES ANYONE HAVE A RECOMMENDATION ON WHAT BRAND TO USE? MY MAIN CONCERN IN CHOSING A GARAGE FLOOR PAINT IS PREVENTING HOT TIRE PICKUP. I KNOW THAT THE PREP IS A BIG PART OF PREVENTING HOT TIRE PICKUP, SO WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PREP A GARARE FLOOR? THANKS FOR THE HELP.

There is a very eaasy answer to your question. You do not paint
garage floors of concrete, you stain them..Alot different then paint. First you clean your floor very well. big strong soap & water job. Then you use clorex or another strong bleech on it.
After dried you apply a concrete stain. They come in several colors. After the stain is dried you apply a concrete sealer. Concrete stain is a little more per gallon then paint, but it is the correct stuff to use.

I used to have an automotive shop and I used a 2 part epoxy paint on it and it worked great. Don't use a 1 part epoxy paint, it won't hold up.
