Hanging Garage Shelves

I would like to create some garage shelves that hang on the wall/ceiling in order to maximize the space. How would you go about doing that? Are there any plans available? I know what I want, just not how to hang 'em right.

Thanks

I am using 'L" brackets rated at 100lbs only $1 or so from HD and come in lengths from 4" to ?" (I don't recall max size) then useing 2 1/2" deck screws I center the bracket on stud and screw the bottom screw straight in, the upper two screws are angled inwards. Their kinda ungly and plain but dont take up as much room as building a 2x4 shelf system on one wall. You can get stronger brackets if needed.

site to look at

Hi,
Try this site for ready made items for "garage storage"
www.closetmaid.com
might get some ideas from it. I'll watch for some articles on garage storage as I look around. Check back in ,
