leaking between blocks and slab

what can i use on the inside of my garage to stop water from coming in, the blocks have been painted so i need something that will seal the blocks over the paint any suggesstions.

You should look into "elastomeric" paint, it's a waterproofing paint for designed for just such a problem. I used a product on my warehouse a few years ago and it solved the problem, if I can find the name of it I will post it for you.

Sealing cinderblock

Not all masonry sealers are compatible with painted surfaces. There are sealers available that will adhere to painted surfaces. Penetration through cinder block walls, should be addressed on the outside of the structure as well. Because cinder block is porous, moisture can penetrate it. Keeping a couple good coats of paint on the exterior of the structure will minimize moisture penetration.

My question is where is the water coming in from. Is it from the base where the blocks sit on the concrete, or through the walls themselves up off the ground.
