I need help to know what planting zone I'm in. I live in Lubbock, Texas.

Would like to know if I can get a start of honeysuckle and transplant now or do I need to do this in the fall?? Do I just dig up a start with roots and put in ground or is there a process I need to follow?

Thanks foe any help, new to all this as you can tell!!

Hi Glennia

Lubbock is Zone 7, with winter temperatures usually bottoming out between 0 and 10 degrees.

I dont know a great deal about flowers, but see what you can find from this website:

Thanks for the zone information!

I just transplanted some lilac bushes so hope they grow. My Blue Bonnets are beginning to look like they will bud out.

Excellent! I love this time of year, but then again, what gardener doesnt? The time when all of our winter fantasies can finally become reality. I was at the nursery today and saw them unloading a truck with palettes of herbs. I had to stay and watch. Some heavy duty work needs to be done in the yard this weekend, and I can't wait for it
