Hi holland_patrick
Try clematis. It is a gorgeous vine with beautiful flowers and very easy to grow. It doesnt need much attention (least the one at my parent's doesnt) throughout the year. Just plant the crown, and give it something to climb on

Are you limiting yourself to only flowers? Grape vines make a splendid arbor cover as well

Have you given consideration to a climbing rose - the Explorer seriies are good - little disease and good bloomers. I am going to be planting the WIlliam Baffin climber this year to go up a trellis
