Chain link fence vs. weeds/grass
Recently, I installed a chain link fence around my back yard. Great for young kids and the dog. My problem know is keeping the grass and weeds growing underneath and around the fence. I hate attempting to weed eat around the fence.
Does anyone have some good ideas for preventing all the grass and weeds growing next to and under the fence. What kind of landscaping looks good and helps my problem. I am open to any suggestions.

Hi griffey
For those who don't use chemicals, there is the LPG torch, I included the pic of the one we have & the link to the Home page. It can put out as high as 500,000 BTUs & all you need do is wilt not burn the weeds & grass.
We of course use the torch for other Garden jobs as well, as fence maintaince. I think the Mfr of the torches & accesories can tell you more about how Flame weeding works.
From what was a job done by hand for so long, it's a pleasure to do the fences now.
