Grubs in my compost
There are grubs in my compost making bin. They are almost as long as a well-fed tomatoe horn worm, but bigger around. There are smaller ones too. They are off-white in color. I see them when I aerate the compost pile.
What are they and are they any good for my compost?

Hi dave
By the time those food scraps etc become compost. There will be many different sized mouths chomping on the Compsting material, before it becomes that fine dark gold dirt, we all seek.
Everything that eats poops, & as it progresses the grubs will leave due to what they eat playing out. By the time it get's down to the Bactieria, you will need a Microscope to see them that are still at the Barb BQ.
