Where to plant tree??

I purchased a "Aptos Blue" evergreen Sequioa. 15Gallon. I want to plant it in an area that is constantly "wet" throughout the year. Rain in fall/winter, neighbours sprinkler runoff everyday in the spring/summer.
Is it a good idea to plant in such a constantly wet area? Will it harm the tree over time. I was told that Sequoia's love water by a nursery man. I want to plant there to fill in a gap on my property.

Although this tree is one that needs a lot of water, it should be planted in loamy, well-drained soil. A tree that uses a lot of water is not one that will thrive in constantly wet soil.

If the soil is loamy and well-drained, the tree should do well with the persistent watering.

Hope this helps.
