I need to buy some used telegraph poles for a garden project.Does anybody know where I can buy some? Also I wish to lay a footpath using something similar to railway line chippings. Where can I buy these and is there a cheaper alternative.

Wink

our local electrical utility sells poles that
have been used, usually in good shape just shorter than origionally made. 4 ft - 6ft.
I don't have any idea about the chips I'm afraid.

Hate to tell you this, but they have not made telegraph poles for over 100 years. Now, if you would like a telephone pole or an old power pole, you can get one from your local utility company. On the railroad chippings, are you referring to railroad ties ? If so you can get them usually at your local lumber yard, or any place that does farm fencing. Good Luck
