What's the best way to remove a tree
stump that is right in the middle
of my front yard? Should I have it
cut out or ground out? There are
roots near the surface and I do have
a sprinkler system.

Was it tough to do? I'll probably have
to hire someone to do it, so I need to
take that into consideration.

Pay someone, 60 to 80 bucks. Its a large machine pulled on a trailer. You can buy a product called stump remover, It will help rot the stump but it takes several years.
