peach trees

I am having problems with my peach trees.They are breaking, and splitting.I realize now, that i should have trimmed them in the fall, but it's too late now.They are full of fruit.any help out there ?

Thin fruit to eliminate extra weight. Yes you can do it now. Do it now or the branch will break and thin itself. While you are at it use wood "props" 1" x 3"-4" boards with a V-notch at one end to place under branch and help support weight of fruit until after harvest. Boards should be just long enough to put a little upward pressure on branch they're supporting to hold board in place. Thinning results in larger, better quality fruit and a healthier tree.
