flowers late

My prennials tend to bloom about 2 weeks after the other gardens in my area. Is there something wrong with my soil?

You do not say how far away from you these other gardens are. What you are dealing with are mini-climates. Mini climates are small localized pockets where there is a slight change in temperature from one area to the next. You may not really notice the difference but the plants do.
Where I live gardens 1/2 mile from mine bloom two weeks earlier as they are at an ever so slightly lower elevation than mine and a little more protected. There are so many variables - location of buildings, length of exposure to sunlight, protection from wind, entrapment of cooler air by topography, trees, etc. Just console yourself that your spring flowers last longer than theirs do and you are enjoying your summer flowers when theirs have gone by.Best - a retired commercial grower
