Question

I am wondering if anyone has any idea as to where you can get plans and parts to make those neat looking copper water sprinklers.
Thanks

Wink

The parts that are copper are available at your plumbing supply store. You will also need a propane torch, flux, and solder. Add to that swivel fittings, hose fittings, standpipe, base, pipe bender, hole punch, etc.

As to design take a look at what's out there, decide the size you want, and sketch it to size for a template. Make sure you compensate for water thrust which will try to move the entire unit in one direction. You will need some type of counter thrust, resistance to thrust, or swivel to eliminate thrust.

Quite frankly I knew a guy who decided he was going to make them to sell but by the time he got everything he needed and added in his time he was well on his way to being broke in a hurry. If I just wanted one I think I'd find one I liked and buy it. As you can see from the above "incomplete" list making one is not cheap or quick. On the other hand, making one could be a complete hoot! Have fun.
