Wink

I understand yuor reluctance to use chemicals. Me too. The key to controlling is get them early - don't let them set seed. Hand pull or cut off from roots and remove from property. I'll swear those plants continue to develop seed after the plant is pulled. If you just lay them on the ground they will re-root. Don't chop up with a hoe - it just makes more plants.

You can also use barriers - mulch, landscape fabric, etc. Be sure to keep after any plants which appear.

There is no easy way but if you go after them 1-2 times a week starting early in spring you should be able to keep on top of it. After a few years there won't be such a bad problem.
