Question

Hi,
I have a young orange tree (Don't know variety). It has produced more wonderful fruit each year. This year however the fruit is half the size of previous 5 years. They are still green, but I think they are beginning to ripen. Why are they so small? Will they still be edible?
Thank you!

Wink

From your description it sounds like a cultural problem i.e. soil, fertilization, etc.

Your best source of info is to call your local county Cooperative Extension Service. They are in the government pages of your phone book and are affiliated with your state land grant college or university. The school initials may be at the start of the phone book listing - mine are.

Also, contact a local nursery (not big box store) that sells this type of tree. They should also have someone on staff who can advise you.
