Exclamation

I have a Large Cedar tree in my front yard that seems to be dying! The entire tree is turning brown, very slowly. It looks like it is starving. I'm not sure what to do. It doesn't look too good, but I don't want to cut it down until I'm sure it can't be saved. HELP

Wink

You need to have someone local who can actually look at the tree. There are several things that can cause this but can only be determined by visual examination.

If you are in the U.S. call your local Cooperative Extension Service. They are in the phone book government section under county. They are affiliated with your state's land grant college or university and the entry is usually preceeded by the school's initials. Someone there will be able to help you.

If you do not have their services available call an arborist (tree service) to have them take a look at it and determine the source of the problem. If the problem is not too far advanced it may be treatable. Best of luck - Ladybug
