Soil Additives

Folks;
I will be planting my tomato plants in two weeks. I would like to know if it's too late to rototill my above ground soil? My garden is all in raised timber boxes.Also since this is my third year planting tomatoes and peppers in this soil should I add additives and if so what would you recommend? A friend told me to add bonemeal and 5-10-10 fertiliser.Thank you in advance for your input.

You should rotate locations for planting tomatoes to avoid problems with nematodes. Bone meal is a good slow release food for tomatoes. A balanced fertilizer works well, too.

You can till the soil, providing the soil is not too wet.

Hope this helps.
