Unhappy parsley

My soil hates parsley but loves cilantro and basil and rosemary. How do I amend the sandy loam soil to encourage parsley? Hudson Valley, NYState

Parsley needs a rich well dug soil that does not dry out too often. It prefers full sun. If soil is good, it will do well in partial shade.

The most accurate way to know how to amend your soil is to have it tested. Your local Dept. of Agriculture Extension Agent can advise you regarding the results of your soil test. pH range of 6.0-7.0 is best.
