Green tomatoes

I've got about 100 full size (baseball + sized), but still green tomatoes off of my tomatoe plants.... Picked them all yesterday due to serious freeze warnings.

Hate to admit total ignorance.... but.... will they ripen off the vine? Any suggestions? Right now they're all sitting in a big box and my Labrador retriever wants to play fetch.....

Green tomatoes will ripen off the vine. As many as you have, you may want to share with friends and family. You can slice and freeze them, placing pieces of freezer paper in between slices.

Thanks Twelvepole.... Never had this kind of harvest before.... they just keep coming.

Family and friends are tired of free tomatoes.... This is the "2nd hundred" off the two plants (incredible harvest). I've been making "homemade tomatoe sauce" and freezing it in quart bags.... Pretty good stuff when mixed with the homegrown bell peppers and green onions...
