Too late to plant bulbs

I was given a bunch of tulip as a gift. Unfortunetely, I was not able to get them in the ground in the Fall. As it is now January, when should I get plant them? Will it be too late for them to bloom in the spring?

I live outside of Baltimore.

plant them anyway. what have you got to lose. make sure they're 6" below the surface. this area is having a warm winter and you don't want them popping early.

I seem to remember they need 6 weeks of cold (near or below freezing) temps. I think you'll still get that in Baltimore.
