I am getting married in early October. My favorite flowers are tulips. Does anyone know whether or not tulips bloom in October as well (I am clearly not a gardener....I wish I was because I'd plant a million!). I'd love to have them as part of the wedding, however, not if there will be extra costs for off-season flowers! Thank you~

Yes, they bloom in October - in the southern hemisphere

In our hemisphere, they need to be forced to bloom in October. That means someone has to fool the bulbs into thinking summer is actually winter.

Well, that gives me two years to fool those bulbs! =) I think it may be a nice idea for me to start looking at something more reasonable! Thanks!
