Hydrangeas
Hi, I trimmed my hydrangeas back last winter where they stood a foot tall. They are really growing fast this year. Now for the problem. I'm selling my house and the hydrangeas have grown about 4" above the base of the bedroom vinyl windows. The hydrangeas are just starting to grow the flower and currently about 3-4 " round. I do need to trim the plant back a little so it won't block the window. Is there a way to trim the plant (topping) without hurting it? The windows are vinyl and I don't want them damaged. The house is in Southern California around Ontario. The reason they grow so well it use to be dairy land. Thanks for the help in advanced....Jerry
