Can anything kill ivy?
Is there anything that can kill ivy? There's nothing around the ivy so overspray is not an issue.

i had english ivy in a large oak tree, i cut all the vines back to the ground and pulled them (vines) off the tree and sprayed it with ROUND UP once a week until it was all gone.

Round-up will do it, but it takes a while. Trim back to just a few leaves and spray with round-up. When new leaves form, spray again. It will take several applications.

I once had a customer who used a "cocktail" of round up and brush killer. He used the package mixing instructions for both and then combined them.It worked like a champ....one application and it was gone.
