Can you advise on growing Plumeria indoors?

Can anyone help me, please, with advise on growing a Plumeria indoors? I bought a Plumeria "stick" in Hawaii last year and it has been doing quite well. We weathered black fungus successfully and have a lot of new leaves and growth. I live in Western New York so there is no question that this will always be an indoor tree. I visited Plumeria 101 and was discouraged to find that indoor plants rarely do well. Does anyone have experience with this? I thank you very much.

Here's how The Plumeria Society of America suggest you overwinter.

You might do a google search to see if you can find a forum just for growing plumeria.

Good luck,
