Bamboo for the North

Is there a variety of Bamboo that would survive in a zone 2?
Would like to create a japanese style garden and bamboo seems like a great plant to grow in small quantities. If so, anyone know of a supplier?
Thanks

There are very cold hardy bamboo species available. Zone 2 is -50 to -40 degrees. I am not sure if there is a species that can survive those low temperatures. It would likely be a challenge for the hardiest bamboo. With mulching in good, there's the possibility that new shoots would come up from roots in the spring. Perhaps container gardening and moving containers indoors is an option.
