drip irrigation vs soaker hoses

Hello

Thinking of doing an irrigation system this year but not sure. I still have several questions that I can't find an answer to.

I have a 4 year rotation on my veggies and wonder how much this will affect me. Moving them every fall before plowing then setting up a new system every year in the spring. I presently use soaker hoses but am loosing quite a lot of unnecessary water. I use 4 zones.

Can you help me?

Soaker hoses work well for temporary irrigation. They put out too much water too fast and are no substitute for drip irrigation. Drip irrigation conserves water and applies it more evenly. Drip irrigation uses intermittent emitters run in plastic tubing along rows or among plants or single emitters can be placed at each plant.
