Avacado tree growth

I have an avacado tree in my new home. I assume the tree is atleast 5 years old, it is aboutt 10 feet tall. This year so far I have about 6 to 8 avacado's on it. I just checked yesterday and there are hundreds of blooms and some have formed into very small avacado's (maybe the size of a small pebble). Will these turn into fruit? Also, can i prune the tree?

Avocado trees are not pruned once they mature unless there is dead wood. It's hard to say if all the developing fruit you see will be edible, but there's a good chance. Here's a helpful site.
