Question Ragged Sailor

I have a flower in my garden that comes up every year. My dad called it a Ragged sailor.Thats where i got it from.It is about 4 to 6 feet tall Small pink florets on a drooping cluster .Can't describe it much better maybe somebody remembers the name .Would like to know more about it?

Well, I don't know what they look like or what color they are but the bontanical name is polygonum orientale.

Well, I don't know what they look like or what color they are but they are also known as Prince's feather (polygonum orientale) according to one website I saw.
