Too late to transplant burning bush?

I have a burning bush that should not have been planted where it is--it's partially blocking a window and will only get bigger. I would like to transplant it to a different part of the yard. Do you think it's too late in the season? I live in SE Michigan. The bush is about four feet high--nice size. If it's too late, I'll just do it in the spring. Thanks!

Do your transplanting while the plant is dormant. Wait until winter. That will give the root system time to acclimate and grow in the early spring, hopefully not sending it into too much shock.

Thanks, sounds like a plan!
