Olive Tree's

I have an olive tree that is very young, about 4 feet high. It is very thin and has a ton a branches from top to bottom. I am getting a lot of conflicting information on wether or not i should prune them now or wait. the branches hang limp, they are almost rubbery..the tree is located in phoenix, arizona if that helps....it does seem to be healthy...

Hi Iceman,

These are the best two sites I have on pruning olives. At the second site be sure to use the drop down box on the left for page 2 for pruning olives.
http://www.olivebusiness.com/OliveHa...es/pruning.htm
http://www.geocities.com/starczaks/pruning/pruning.html

If you need sites on how to make pruning cuts, just lmk.
