Unhappy

We would like to plant a vegetable garden this year. However, yesterday we noticed (even in March) that the area we were hoping to use as a garden, has grubs.

Now, if we spray for grubs, does that mean our plans for a garden in that area are shot?

Cool

Hi Kim & Peter,

Some pesticides are not harmful to you or your garden. Best thing is to go to your Garden Center and ask or read(they should have a large book that covers a-z garden pesticides) up on the best solution for you.

Kim & Peter,

Did a little research and found that Ortho has a product called "Grub be Gone" also
Diazinon is a good grub killer. Be sure and read the directions for the different types of plants and planting delays. Hopr this helps.

Hi, I found DoItYourself.com through another site that has some other very good garden links.

You might want to check it out for yourself. There might be some suggestions there for you. Good luck
