I am having problems with a hydranga bush. It's four years old and only a few flowers. What am I doing wrong?

Cool

Jeff,

I am for sure no garden expert, but I know that a lot of your problem might have to do with when you prune your bushes. I prune mine in the fall, after all the flowers have died. If you prune any later, there's a good possibility that you're cutting off the buds that were supposed to have bloommed now. It might seem like the wrong thing to do, but pruning your bushes allows them to grow fuller and bushier, rather than leggy. Hope this helps.

Jake
