ground cover/ plants for shade in Wisconsin
I have a row of Arbor Vitae trees along an edge of my property that I have recently trimmed and want to "clean-up" under and around them. There is currently just weeds growing there. I'm looking for some good looking ground cover or possibly ornamental plants or shrubs I could plant. Preferably no maintenance, and they will not get much if any sun. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Hunterchp,
Arborvitae are conifers and they keep growing.
How much width and height can the shrubs be?
How tall do you want the groundcover to grow?
What is your hardiness zone? If you aren't sure you can use this zip code zone finder. It will help to determine which plants will survive your winters.

Do the shrubs and/or groundcover need to be evergreen?
