Flower identification

Two years ago I bought some flowers at one of these temporary nursery stands that pop up in the spring of the year around here. They were marked as annual flowers which was fine for our raised bed. The fall of that year I was doing the fall cleanup, pulled out the plants and found that they had fairly large bulbs in the ground, about the size of a small pickle. Being the penny pincher I am, I tossed them in a bucket and put them in a storage room. Well, now two years later I have keeping them going and am very happy with them this year.

Here are some pictures:

Does anybody know what kind of flowers they are? I think there were some other colors but I only have the yellow and white.

Thanks! Did some looking around the net under "Dahlias" and while I could not find an exact match from the pictures from the descriptions it sounds like that is what they are.
