Should I Lime?

The area where I planted my four schrubs is graded slightly below an area that has been set up as a potty area for two dogs. The shrubs are burning bush and are 5 to 6 feet away from the potty area. I scoop up the fecas daily but I am concerned about either short or long term effects from their fecas or urine. This potty area has a bed of pea gravel and a layer of weed control fabric. The Potty area has been in use since April and the schrubs have just been planted and they are about 22 inches tall and about 16 inches wide and are planted 16 feet apart. Do you think I need to add lime to help neutralize the potty area and the planting area? Or is the distance between them enough for the soil to do it for me?

Test the PH of the soil near the plants and see if it is needed. Generally gravity will pull the water/urine down into the ground so it does not tend to migrate horizontally unless there is some barrier preventing it from going down.
