is my ph ok?

I just started a raised bed garden for vegetables. It is filled with 50% spaghum peat moss and the rest a mix of top soil, compost, composted cow manure, and a little 4-4-4 organic fertilizer. I understand that peat is acidic, do I need to add anything else?

The only way to know for sure is to test the soil's ph. Go easy on the peat moss. I've noticed that the peat flavor can carry through in some foods. I went heavy with peat in my strawberry beds and funky tasting berries for the next couple years.

I tested the ph it comes out about 6.5-6.8 depending on the part of the bed.

Your garden is slightly acidic but basically right in the middle which is a good place to be for general gardening. Check the ph occasionally to confirm that it's not getting too acidic especially if your current reading was taken soon after you put your mix together. After a few weeks of rain or watering your reading may be different.
