How to remove calcium deposits from stone patio

A faucet has been dripping onto my stone patio and has left calcium deposits.
How do I remove the deposits w/o marring the stone. Home Depot said not to use Lime Away because it creates a white mark on the stone.

Do you know what type of stone you have on your patio? If it's something hard like granite then there is not much you can do to hurt it but if it's something like limestone you have to be careful about applying acids (which are great at removing calcium deposits).
