Tomato plant question

For the compost, which is the best I can purchase from Lowes or Home Depot?

What do you need compost for? You should mix it with potting soil so it won't be too rich. Take your tomato plant out of the container, remove all but 2 or 3 leaves from the plant, lay the plant in the ground, cover it up except for the few leaves left. Make a dirt "pillow" for those leaves. Now the entire stalk will sprout roots and you will have a productive plant. As the plants start to blossom, place 1/2 tsp of Epsom salt near the base of the plant to protect it from blossom end rot.
