Will Yews survive?
Have some yews on the north side and this was the year that the deer found them and stripped the branches.........will they survive when this happens and is there something I should do to help them survive? Next fall, going to fence them in that is for sure.
Appreciate any help and/or suggestions

I would use this opportunity as a reason to get rid of them, they are the bane of my existence!
If you really want to keep them, I would probably take this chance to really prune them back and shape them. Those stupid things keep getting bigger and bigger every year and when you DO decide to prune them back to a managable size they will have bare spots and will be ugly for the entire year. So I would suggest aggressively pruning them so that the new growth will be concentrated to a smaller area. (you may think you are butchering it but it will grow back eventually, they are hard to kill.)

thanks
I thought that was what might be suggested and I will do that, cut them way back, certainly cannot do them any harm. Thanks for the help.
