Around my house we have a good size natural area where we have a variety of shrubs planted (mostly boxwoods). Some of them are just too large now and I plan on removing them. I'd really like to plant some type of low growing ground cover plant that would add some color and help prevent weed growth. I also plan to replace some of the shrubs with some other lower\slower growing items (not sure what yet). My biggest concern is that I don't want the ground cover in the natural area to spill over into my lawn. As of now there isn't any type of hard border separating the two areas. Can anyone make a recommendation as to something that might work well? I live in NC where we have a lot of clay for soil. Thanks, Rut
