Raspberries and strawberries
#1
Our new place has several raspberry bushes and lots of strawberry plants. Any ideas on house to care for, trim, etc. Never had them before.
Thanks

Growing berries
You might want to stop by the library and check out some books. You can also call your Dept. of Agriculture Extension Agent for some free literature on growing berries in your Growing Zone.

Hi Notaplumber,
You're welcome! Good luck with your plants. I've never grown raspberries, but I've had a huge bed of strawberries. The main thing is to plant them at the right depth. After that, they grow like weeds!
If you want a great recipe for freezer strawberry jam, try the one that comes in a box of Pecto. It's better than any canned recipe I've tried.
