What are you using the corn gluten for? You'll have to use longer sentences to tell us what you are doing and what the results need to be.

Never heard of it, but I've never seen the other side of the moon, either. It's a little late in the season to try and prevent weeds. They are already on their way. The best time is in February or after the ground thaws in your case, before the emergence of green by using lime. Fill us in on the methodology of using the corn gluten.

Link doesn't work. What did it say, in essence? If your grass is growing, your weeds are ahead of that, so I'm not sure what you can do except kill them. You can't "prevent" them at this stage.

From what they say, it will help prevent weed emergence BEFORE it starts to grow, and specifically states that established dandelion and crabgrass will not be affected by it. You have a small window to work in and it must rain within 2 days of the application.
