Name that squash
I lost the package and cannot remember what these are. They were a good producer. Very prolific and uniform, about 9-10" in length. They are hard with yellow inside, They may look like an overgrown zucchini, but are not. Baked at 375 degrees for an hour, they have a mild taste and are a little stringy like spaghetti squash.
Is it just a variety of spaghetti squash?

It's an unripened spaghetti squash....possibly...lol. But yes, there are green ones that look sort of like zucchini. Similar questions are all over the gardening websites. Best way is just cut it lengthwise, get the seeds and pulpy stuff out, put a 1/2 stick of butter in it, salt and pepper if you like, then put it cut side down in a backing dish with about 1/2-3/4" of water. Bake at 350 til a butter knife pushes easily through the skin (about 45min). If it comes out in strings using a fork, then it's definitely some varietal of spaghetti squash. Any other squash meat would come out in chunks.
Side note, saw spaghetti squash in a market that carries lots of Hispanic type veggies. They had spaghetti squash about the size of mangoes. I thought..."WTH is that? A single serve spaghetti squash?"

We had something like that. The wife says it's either an unripe delicata squash, or a hybrid -- possibly delicata and spaghetti hybrid. Squash grows like crazy for us, and also hybridizes on its own like crazy for us.
